Single the hands between water. Falling
From frame. You are united.
Torn from canvas and thrust homeward
The cries of art no longer imitating
Hallmark greetings and single sonatas.
A woman rocks her bones nowhere,
Cries muffled with small talk.
Seeing only windows. Dreaming doors.
